This map is an event map. The design is very simple and things are spaced out. This map is not for a busy event, more of a craft fair event, hence the amount of tents. There are lots of dark green dots to show the forest areas surrounding the park. The darker grass also represents that it is a natural area as opposed to the kempt grass in the park itself. There are gray lines to represent paths in the park along with the main roads surrounding the park.
The shapes for this map are all very basic because if it were complicated it would look too crowded. The colors I decided to use have no real meaning other than the fact that I wanted them to stick out and be easily seen. There is also a baseball field, but it is blocked off for this event.
