The theme of these playing cards are outer space. This is shown by the galactic blue, pink, and purple colors used in the background of the cards. There are also planets in our solar system to represent the suits. The suits are: Uranus (as seen on the King card), Saturn (as seen on the Queen card), Neptune (as seen on the Jack card), and Jupiter (as seen on the Ace card).
There are stars behind each letter on the cards to make them stick out more on the background. The stars have a slight glow around them to add interest. The font chosen is simple to make it easily readable; it is a rather narrow font to better fit the stars that it is on top of. The front of the card is the same gradient as the back of the card, just lighter to add contrast and make it nicer on the eyes. The back of the card also has swirly wisps on it to represent different galaxies.
