I decided to make a postcard from Nashville, TN. The images used were taken by me when I went to Nashville. I wanted to include a sign with a location to advertise a specific part of Nashville; I used the Pedestrian Bridge for this. The view of the city was taken from the Pedestrian Bridge as well.
For the layout, I wanted it to be layered. I put the sign over a portion of the image to add some character. The greetings box is the same color as the stone used on the sign. I lowered the opacity to make it less in your face and to allow the background image to still be seen. The border color is a darker version of the stone color as well. I thought the background image had quite a few blue tones so this more red tone would help to balance it out a bit more.
